The Stimulating Physics Network (SPN)
Skipton Girls’ High School is now a Stimulating Physics Network Lead School with Adviser, recognised by the Institute of Physics as a centre of excellence in the teaching of Physics.
The overall aim of the Network project is to increase progression to A Level Physics.
As a Lead School, we work collaboratively with a group of 10 local partner schools to provide CPD and peer networking opportunities for teachers in those schools. Free sessions are often held at the school’s state of the art STEM centre.
If you are interested in registering your school as a participant in the project please contact us. There are limited places still available.
